Acquisition of NetNumber by Abry Partners: The 4-1-1
By acquiring through Abry partner, a Boston-based private equity firm with deep experience in global communications, IoT and cybersecurity, the new NetNumber Global Data Services aims to expand the company’s phone number intelligence portfolio. These data innovation services provide real-time routing and phone number data solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and fight fraud.
Titanium Software is the result of the software spin-out
Concurrently, as part of a spin-off, the software solutions suite and assets within the NetNumber umbrella, including its award-winning software platform and services that support multi-generational global telecom and government networks, will now operate as an independent private company, Titanium Software.
NetNumber’s new global data services
Abry Partners’ investment enables NetNumber Global Data Services to expand its customer portfolio of value-based partnerships with enterprise, messaging and communications service providers. Steve Legge has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of NetNumber Global Data Services, leading the company into the future.
Legge joined NetNumber in 2013 as Vice President, Corporate Development, leading global partner strategies. He has been the company’s Chief Operating Officer since 2018 and has been instrumental in the company’s highly successful agile transformation and strategic transition to cloud-native and 5G solutions, setting the stage for the next phase of growth at both companies.
