  • Alan Cook returns to the US lineup for her third start at the Concacaf W Championship in her 13th seasonth international appearance for the USA. Cook, who made her international debut against Costa Rica on November 10, 2019, played every 180 minutes in USA’s first two group stage games against Haiti and Jamaica before taking a well-deserved break against Mexico.

  • Forward Mallory Pugh will make her third start in the Concacaf W Championship after taking a well-deserved rest in the third group stage game against Mexico. Pugh leads USA with seven assists in 2022, two of which came at the tournament, and is expected to give her 77th Career cap in today’s game against Costa Rica.
  • Lindsey Horan will make her fourth consecutive start at the Concacaf W Championship as she earns her 115th international appearance. Horan, who led USA with six goals in the Concacaf 2020 Olympic qualifiers, has eight goals and eight assists in 17 career Concacaf qualifier appearances.
  • Sophia Smith do you deserve 20th cap as they finished their team-leading 10thth Early 2022. Smith also leads the USWNT with seven goals this year, scoring a brace within the first eight minutes of America’s 5-0 win over Jamaica on July 7.
  • After a brace in America’s opening game against Haiti Alex Morgan will be making her third start of the tournament as she celebrates her 195thth international appearance, a tie with Shannon Boxx for 13th on the US all-time caps list. The brace against Haiti marked Morgans 29th multi-goal game of his career, third best in US history. She has now scored 21 goals in 22 qualifiers for the USWNT, the third most in US history.
  • Emily Sonnet will make a second consecutive start at the 2022 Concacaf W Championship as she earns her 69th career cap. Sonnett started and played the full 90 minutes in the July 11 win over Mexico and played a key role in USA’s 89th minute goalth Minute with the first header that set off a rebound for Kristie Mewis to go on and finish.
  • midfield player Rose Lavalle will make her third start and fourth overall appearance of this tournament as she earns her 77th Cap for USA. Lavelle scored America’s third goal for their third goal of the year in a 5-0 win over Jamaica on July 7 sixth career goal for USA in a World Cup or Olympic qualifier. She has been directly involved in eight goals, scoring three goals and providing five assists in USA’s last eight games.
  • Andy Sullivan do you deserve 31St Career cap on her third start at the Concacaf W Championship. Sullivan is third overall in the USWNT this year with 589 minutes played and will start for the ninth time in 2022.
  • Defense attorney Emily Fox remains in COVID protocols and is not up for selection.
