The agreement combines Tango Networks’ mobile Unified Communications offering with the UK’s largest, fastest and most reliable mobile network
LEEDS, UK, 06 July 2022–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tango Networks today announced an agreement with BT Wholesale to use the EE network to provide premium mobile unified communications to UK-based business users.
The agreement allows Tango Networks to operate its Mobile-X™ Extend service using EE’s network, which Rootmetrics says is the largest, fastest and most reliable mobile network in the UK.
“Consumer-centric use cases, features and pricing models have dominated the evolution of the wireless industry,” said Andrew Bale, executive vice president of Tango Networks. “That’s all changing with Tango Extend, a cellular network that’s designed for business and intended to be controlled by business. Now that our partnership with BT Wholesale provides access to the EE network, the reach and quality of these communications will truly be unmatched in Business Class.”
Integrating fixed-cellular convergence technologies, Tango Extend MVNO service integrates each mobile phone into an enterprise’s Unified Communications platform, transforming the mobile phone into a full-featured business line.
Users carry the equivalent of a traditional landline phone in their mobile phones, and all business calls and SMS use the corporate identity and numbers. The service is fully mobile native and requires no special apps, steps or user training. Businesses directly control their users’ business mobile communications, including the capture and recording of business voice and text.
Alex Tempest, Managing Director, BT Wholesale said: “We are delighted to offer Tango Networks customers access to our fantastic EE mobile network. We will support them in the introduction of services for companies with a distributed workforce, including remote and mobile colleagues.”
The new agreement with BT Wholesale will enable Tango Networks resellers to offer mobile business services with the market-leading range, speed and reliability of the EE network.
“Business communications users have significantly different needs than consumers,” said Luke Faragher, CEO of Onsim, a UK-based reseller of the Tango Extend service. “Features such as call transfer, hold and call recording are standard in fixed line communications for businesses. Now we can bring the same features to any mobile phone, providing a mobile communications experience and feature set that is truly business-ready.”
Enterprises use Tango Extend for mobile unified communications, mobile first and mobile only communications, as well as work-from-home, hybrid and work-from-anywhere models. The service extends enterprise-grade communications to mobile workers, deskless workers and frontline workers, many of them for the first time.
Tango Extend empowers organizations to transform operations, streamline collaboration, and increase employee productivity across the board. Find out more at tango-networks.com.
