The entertainment industry has been hit hard by the pandemic, which has included the cancellation of in-person events like the much-anticipated San Diego Comic-Con. Despite this, Warner Bros. and DC welcomed the change by showcasing their projects in an online event called DC FanDome, which ultimately led to a plethora of significant announcements and surprises.
As things slowly return to normal, San Diego Comic-Con is confirmed to be back as an in-person event, meaning the iconic Hall H-Panels will also be making a return.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already confirmed they will be present at this year’s event, but DC’s plans are still unclear due to a report that Warner Bros. Discovery’s new CEO, David Zaslav, is making significant changes to the company’s approach to the event.
Now, ahead of this huge fan conference, DC’s plans have surprisingly surfaced online.

In line with the WWE Legend’s announcement Warner Bros. also unveiled a fresh new teaser for Black Adam which highlights its plaque in Hall H:
In a previous report, The Hollywood Reporter shared this the plans of Warner Bros.’ Theater divisions for the event were not yet clear. The outlet also revealed that 2023 DC movies, such as The Lightning and Blue Beetlewill reportedly not have panels as they are being considered “too far out” A… have “sensible” A hit.
Meanwhile, fandangos Eric Davis speculated that Black Adam is not DC’s only presentation in Hall H:
“JUST IN: WB brings DC to #SDCC! So far, #BlackAdam is confirmed to be there for Saturday’s panel…but I guess that’s not all. And you know The Rock is going to be BIG in Hall H.”
Given that confirmation, it looks like DC will push through its Hall H presentation, meaning other films are likely to follow on the studio’s slate Black Adam in the event.
answering a fan question, Davis adding that it made sense for DC to bring more, noting that new footage is out Black Adam, Shazam! wrath of the gods, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdomand The Lightning were revealed during CinemaCon:
“I don’t know exactly, but it would make sense if they brought some things with them. At CinemaCon we saw new footage from Black Adam, Shazam, Aquaman 2 and The Flash.”
This prediction was correct, as Zachary Levi also confirmed on Twitter Shazam! wrath of the gods Presence in Hall H alongside other lightning-themed films Black Adam.
The Shazam actor also reassured fans who couldn’t get into the exclusive panel and confirmed this “Whatever falls this Saturday will eventually fall for you too:”

Along with Levi’s Message, the official social pages for the Shazam! Sequel shared a new teaser to promote the film’s Comic-Con presence:
Will Warner Bros. Reveal DCEU’s Future Plans?
The latest from Dwayne Johnson Black Adam The announcement almost confirms that more footage from the DC film will be revealed during the event.
There is a high chance that a final trailer will be revealed with more intense action sequences and story details of the film. It’s also possible that an official clip will be shown, possibly highlighting the Justice Society of America. In addition to the footage, the presence of Johnson and the cast also indicates that more details about the film will be released.
On Shazam! On Levi’s side, it sounds like the sequel is getting its first full trailer of Levi’s cryptic wording, which will inevitably hit online shortly after, for those not lucky enough to make it to Hall H.
Warner Brothers’ The confirmed presence at San Diego Comic-Con could mean that DC wants to keep making waves and compete with Marvel Studios’ announcements. While it’s unknown if this development will impact DC FanDome, it seems plausible that the studio’s focus will now shift to face-to-face gatherings rather than online.
In addition to Black Adama presentation for this month DC’s League of Super Pets could also be an option considering the film is part of the studio’s 2022 lineup.
It’s a different story for DC’s 2023 slate, however, as the studio appears to have scrapped dedicated panels for it Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and The Lightning. However, Warner Bros. could still show new footage from these films via a Sizzle reel, or official clips could be released online to hype their respective releases.
Black Adam It is slated to premiere in theaters on October 21.
