What is Stumble Guys? Get to know the top charts of Fall Guys clones on IOS and Play Store

Fall Guys has been on the rise again since it decided to go free-to-play and subsequently made its debut on Nintendo Switch and Xbox. Many titles are increasingly being ported to mobile devices, but this is not the case with Mediatonic, at least for the time being.

In the midst of all this, there seems to be one game topping the charts on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. To make things interesting, the gameplay design and the overall theme of the game appear to be very similar to its more famous counterpart.

Fall Guys is a different take on the very popular battle royale genre, although it executes the gameplay differently. There are no elaborate scenes of violence or loot collecting, as all players must survive a series of different rounds. In the end, whoever survived is declared the winner, and that’s harder to achieve than it sounds.

This isn’t the only similarity in Stumble Guys, as the game design seems eerily the same. Of course, there are key differences that exist due to different hardware capabilities. Regardless, there’s no denying that the mobile app looks more similar than usual.

A Fall Guys knockoff in the form of Stumble Guys is leading the mobile gaming scene

Stumble Guys is the result of searching for Fall Guys in their respective application store. This is quite natural as the former is not even applicable on mobile devices. There are also no plans to bring it to handheld devices, which seems unlikely given the chemistry between Epic and Apple.

Still, some will refer to Stumble Guys as a clone given how many similarities it shares with others. The puzzles and levels look very similar and the main goals of the players are the same.

Now there are some differences, especially in the appearance of the players in the game. As with the Mediatonic title, Stumble Guys allows players to choose different costumes and customize their appearance. However, not every design has the same shape, unlike Fall Guys where the core looks of the bean-like design are always maintained.

Clone or not, Stumble Guys is available for free on both Android and iOs. Its popularity and increase in downloads seem to have increased since Fall Guys is free to play. It ranks in the top 10 of both application stores and once again shows its rising popularity.

Economically, Stumble Guys have raked in a lot of moolah. According to AppMagic, the game has grossed around $6.6 million, which aren’t shabby numbers. If anything, it shows that mobile gamers love a Fall Guys style game on their mobile devices. Given the special nature of such games, they seem to be tailor-made for mobile phones as players can easily play with their friends.

Whether or not Stumble Guys can be considered fake is decided by its players. However, the game is certainly here to stay given the revenue it generates. It could even lead to the Epic Games Store considering a possible mobile port for Fall Guys in the future.
